Born in Lichfield uk 1962
I am a former night club D.J. and enjoy music, and football, i have supported manchester united all my life, seen the ups and downs including relegation, something todays young fans wouldn't believe possible and of course the triumphant fergie era, so i seen both ends of the football spectrum.
I have always been a lover of animals, especially cats, photography has always
been of interest to me but never have i taken it seriously, over the last few years
i have combined my love of animals and interest in photography together and
began to take pictures of the animals at my local zoo, DUDLEY ZOO, it was while
doing this i first became aware of an unusual combination of rare tigers, Tschuna
an amur tiger & Daseep a sumatran tiger, both were together from cubs after being rejected by there mothers, and were hand reared at wuppertal zoo in
germany, the pair inspired me to visit not just dudley zoo, but zoo's across the
whole of the uk.
In the past year 2014, i visited zoo's up and down the country, from kent to edinburgh, devon to norwich, and during these trips got to know and recognise most of the big cats(and small) that i've seen. i have seen some majestic animals and inevitably seen some leave us, these fantastic animals will never be forgotten by me and i am left with fond memories of them, mwamba the asiatic lion, johnny junior the african lion, orry the patagonian sealion, mizi the female snow leopard and recently rowan the sulawesi macaque.
